TRAK Employment Solutions, acting as an employment business , are working together with a market leading manufacturing business based in Hungerford.
Our client has continually grown over 40 years to earn its position at the forefront of manufacturing high quality and innovative Self-Adhesive Products, Shrink Sleeves and Wraparound Reel Fed Labels.
Due to expansion, they are now looking to add an experienced Despatch Operator to their dedicated team.
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Working a 45-hour week on a day shift hour of Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm.
Location: Hungerford (RG17)
JOB ROLE:
Working in collaboration with the whole Production team, this role requires the ability to deliver a high standard of work on a consistent basis ensuring all goods inspected and rewound to the exact order requirements. Diligence is paramount for this role to ensure our client achieves the exacting requirements of their growing customer base.
Employees daily responsibilities, include but not limited to:
- Prioritising the daily despatch list with the team.
- Product inspection checks.
- Packing products for delivery to customers.
- Basic administrative work including data entry.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong diligence.
- Able to understand and follow clear work instructions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.
- Forklift License.
- Experience within a dispatch environment is desired.
